Installation

1. Upload ECIT to the web directory of your choice.
2. Create a new MySQL database name for ECIT to use.
a. go to phpmyadmin
b. create database name “campusadmin”
c. import “campusadmin.sql”

Add staff using Admin account
3. Browse to the ECIT folder and you will be redirected to the installation process.
4. Fill out the form, click install, and that’s it!
5. You are now ready to use ECIT.
# Poked Issues #
– The .htaccess file may cause issues on some servers. If you get a 500 Internal Server Error when you try to load the installer,
– On Windows Server WAMP / XAMPP need to rewrite apache serveice : click on the WAMP/XAMPP icon and goto apache –> Apache Modules –> rewrite_modle make sure this rewrite_module is chacked.

i. Administrator: this module contains both bursars and students information as well as the activities each of them carries at different times. It keeps track on the logs for all system users. It allows the system administrator to add bursars as well as students and manage their accounts.
ii. Bursar: This module contains students’ details as well as payment detail. That is fees paid and balances. It also allows the bursar as well to add students and edit their details. Allows the bursar to print list of students who have balances as well as those that have their fees paid.
iii. Student: This module contains a specific student’s information. A student is only able to view his details. It also student allows the student to make payments confirmation by entering the bank-slip number and the bank name which in turn confirms form the bank and he is able to view the payments made and the balances and well as print a signed receipt.

The project’s primary goals consist of:
A robust and effective web based online banking system.
Extending functionality without compromising the security.
Personal banking services that gives you complete control over all your banking demands online.
Simple and easy user interface to work with.
Online Banking features:
Registration for online banking by Admin.
Adding Beneficiary account by customer.
Transferring amount to the beneficiary added by customer.
Staff must approve for beneficiary activation before it can be used for transferring funds.
Customer gets to know his last login date and time each time he logs in.
Customer can check last 10 transactions made with their account.
Customer can check their account statement within a date range.
Customer can request for ATM and Cheque Book.
Staff will approve requests for ATM card and cheque book.
Admin can add/edit/delete customer as well as staff.
All three of them(customer, staff & admin) can change their password.
Staff and Admin Login pages are hidden from customer for security purpose.
Security:
Each and every input is passed through mysql_real_escape_string() to remove special characters from the string so that user can’t submit arbitrary input. It protects from attacks like Sql Injection and Cross Site Scripting(XSS).
Passwords are encrypted with SHA- 1 hashing algorithm and then stored in database.
Passwords are stored as encrypted hashes with an additional random salt for added security.
Database:
The database contains customer, staff & admin tables.
Each customer has its own virtual passbook linked with its account number.
Staff, customer and, admin have their details and password in their respective tables with all the details.
A separate table for beneficiary is included in the database.
A table for cheque book and ATM requests is included.
This project is divided into three hierarchical parts:
The index page for the customer login.
A hidden staff login page.
A hidden admin login page.
Usage:
Install XAMPP or something similar.
Copy all the files to c:/xampp/htdocs/banking/
Import the bank_db.sql from phpMyAdmin.
change the password in _inc/dbconn.php file accordingly.
visit localhost/banking (customer index page)
visit localhost/banking/adminlogin.php (admin login)
visit localhost/banking/staff_login.php (staff login)

Existing Project System
Present Clinic Management System project in PHP is not able to store details of appointment between doctors and patients thus increasing paper work and maintaining hard copy of appointment details. Current clinic management system is not having the facility of storing and maintaining database for each patience who have visited earlier in their clinic. Admin do not have the facility to find the type of doctors who are working for their clinic and do not able to get their specialty details. Present clinic management system is also not able to maintain blood group database along with the details of their donors and recipients.
Clinic Management System project in PHP
Clinic Management System project in PHP will look after all the tasks and include all the features which are required for current environment. All the tasks will be done using the tables and all the data will be retrieved and stored in the tables which are used for the present clinic management system. Doctors will find easy to get the details of their patients before their meeting, so that they can find and analyze their problems. They will also able to check their prescription details if they have visited earlier in their clinic. Admin will have the authority to make changes in particular information’s and other details related to working employees of their clinic.
